Ground beef
1/2 of an
Onion (diced)
2 cloves
Garlic (minced)
3 1/2 cups
Beef broth
14.5 ounces
Diced tomatoes (original recipe uses canned)
2 tablespoons
Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon
Minced fresh parsley
1 teaspoon
Dried dill
1 teaspoon
Mustard powder
1 teaspoon
Seasoned salt
4 ounces
Cream cheese
1 1/2 cups
Grated cheddar cheese
1 cup
Heavy cream
TOPPING SUGGESTIONS:
Pickles
Shredded cheddar cheese
Diced tomatoes
6 slices
Cooked bacon (crumbled)
Step by Step Instructions
- Put the ground beef, diced onion, and minced garlic into a large pot and brown the beef over medium heat, breaking it up while cooking. Drain the grease from the pot.
- Add the beef broth, tomatoes, Worcestershire sauce, parsley, dill, mustard powder, and seasoned salt to the pot. Stir together, bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce it to a simmer and cook for 30 minutes.
- Add the cream cheese, grated cheddar, and heavy cream to the pot and whisk until the mixture is well combined.
- Serve with desired toppings.
